This place used to be Bare...
This place used to be Bare Assets South, but like Bliss on Ulmerton, got bought out by and renamed Mile High Club. When it was Bare Assets, it wasn't very good. I decided to see the changes that Mile High made. I walk in and the setup is the same. There is a dancing stage in the middle and rectangular bar where you can sit closer to the stage or on the other side with your back to the wall. It was about 4pm, so no cover charge. I ordered a beer and it was only $2, just like before. There were 4 or 5 dancers of fairly low quality. One started talking to me and I wanted to get the scoop on dances so I bought her a drink (Patron $9). She seemed a little confused or wanted to confuse me because she kept saying different things. There are still single dances more out in the open. I still don't understand the pricing. At one point she said $30 per song, then $35 per song, then something about a two for $40 deal. She was trying to convince me to do a $75 dance, which she said could be done in the VIP room where she said there was complete privacy. I didn't get much more info than that and had no interest in doing a dance with her or any of the other girls there that day, so I finished my beer quickly and left. I won't be back.
