Like the rest of the clubs here, Deja Vu has fallen victim to Nashville's prudish three foot laws. It's BYOB, the stage is still fully nude, and "lap dances" are bikini only. My friends and I stayed until after midnight on Saturday, and there might have been ten other customers at the most. Some of the dancers were very pretty, and unlike in Atlanta, they can spread their legs on stage. That was kind of surprising, but that's where the wildness ends. The club itself looks like other Larry Flynt clubs I've been to, so it's probably the nicest one in town. When the overly enthusiastic DJ announced "high heels in motion!" (he did a few times), bored-looking dancers had to walk around and hassle every customer for a 2-for-$15 dance deal. I could tell that was annoying for both parties. I paid extra for a private dance behind a curtain, which included a huge T-shirt, but it was still bikini-only, no touching, and the house mom poked her head in a few times. If you're a heavy drinker, you might save money bringing your own, but cover was $20 and I had to pay for an ice bucket.
