I had been to Go Go...

I had been to Go Go Rama about 10 years ago and at that time it was a fantastic club. I was in the area recently, so I decided to give it a try, recalling my great past experience. I was completely disappointed; the present reality does not even come close to my idealized recollection. First off, even though it is called Go Go Rama, it is no longer a GO GO Bar, it is instead a strip bar where the girls get completely naked. Normally that would not be a problem except that in New Jersey naked girls equals no liquor. The one thing that is for sure is that strip clubs are infinitely better the more alcohol you consume. A club that is filled with girls that are 6's and 7's all of a sudden can seem like 9's and 10's after three or four beers. The other thing that has changed over the years is the party atmosphere that created the ambiance of the club years ago is gone. I imagine this is also due to the lack of libations. The girls themselves are not ugly and there was one very beautiful girl working on the day I visited. They do charge a cover and I just don't think the entertainment value of this club is worth the price of admission. Especially because there are a bunch of other bars nearby that do serve alcohol and have girls that are pretty hot. I will not go there again.
