My yearly visit and yearly review...

My yearly visit and yearly review seems somewhat like a broken record. About once a year I visit the local Wichita clubs to see if the management or owners have changed. No such luck. $10 cover. Ok. Walked around a bit and the quality (age, looks, body shapes) of the dancers was less than my last visit (and less than most clubs in other Kansas towns). I ordered a beer and they gave me an aluminum bottle. (personal annoyance to me. I didn't even finish it as I can't stand aluminum "bottles". It might not bother others). I sat down at the stage and it was I call a Matador tip. Each of the 3 dancers avoided almost all skin contact when taking my dollar. I've found in the past at Pleasures it depends on when the police last visited or about to visit for how much you get for your tip. They don't seem to do that at other Wichita joints. I asked a dancer if the dance prices were still $40 and $60 and was told yes (supposedly topless and nude being the price difference). I left. 15 minutes was enough to show me I'll continue to drive to Salina or Emporia (when I only want to drive an hour) or to Lawrence when I want to visit a good strip joint.
