Just came back to the Tampa...
Just came back to the Tampa port from a cruise vacation w/ a few buddies. Since we're still in the spirit on women and liquor, we figured Monday night we hit up a club. So we head to 2001 on Monday around midnight. Pro's about coming on Monday night, less crowed. If you ever been to this spot on a Friday or Saturday night, expect a packed club, to the point where there are no chairs and have to compete for a spot on the wall to hold up.
So about 8 or so on staff tonight, mostly white/latina, I think there may have been one AA. Overall, I was impressed for a Mon. I would say the women ranged from 6-8 in looks. Not many customers tonight, so pretty much the moment me and my buddy sat down we were hit for dances. Didn't really bother me as I came with the mindset of wanting to get dances. First girl chatted me up, apparently it was her first night (who knows?), tall brunette, just my type. At 2001, you pay $5 to a bouncer each time you go back to the dance area. Dances seem pretty consistent at 2001, girls grind, some stick shift and pretty much try to sell you on VIP. I never partaken in VIP at 2001 yet and that didn't change tonight.
Now, if I can remember correctly, there is a sign that says dances are $25 per song. Some girls will negotiate w/ multiple dances. What was annoying though was strippers quoting more than that for a Monday night. The 2nd girl that approached me, a fit latina, tried to sell me a "deal" of 3 songs for a $100. I couldn't believe it, so I told her the last girl only charged $25, she talked about how her dances are better/worth it, etc. So I declined. 3rd girl, tall brunette, accent foreign, offered a similar non favorable "deal" That was honestly the most frustrating part of my night was just the inconsistencies of dance prices quoted for a Monday night. Figured they would be more aggressive in offering favorable deals since lack of customers.
