I walked in with a lot...
I walked in with a lot of expectations, Christie's has a reputation as being one of the best nationwide. The club was smaller than I thought it would be, and no markings on the building. Once I got inside, the place was gorgeous. It used to be another club, but when Christie's took over, they really put a lot of money into it, on the inside at least. There's only 1 stage, but it (and the bar) is solid granite, with a spinning pole. There were not a lot of people there, but they did just open a month ago. I went because it was close to the hotel I was staying at, right by the airport. The drinks were reasonably priced, and dances were $10 on the floor and 20 or 25 in more private booths. Security was present, but not intrusive, and the place seems like there wasn't a welcome mat out for the thugs and punks you usually run into in the Tucson area. The dancers were a little shy, but once you tip the girl you like on stage, they came over and warmed up to you. Management was friendly; I wasn't throwing money around like a big player, but the manager still swung by and shook my hand, asking if everything was ok. Personal touches like that will make for a solid experience, in my book. The bartender was the type that should have been a dancer too, gorgeous and friendly, as were the cocktail waitresses. Overall, a great experience, and I look forward to going again when I'm back in the area.
