It's been almost a year since...

It's been almost a year since I've been to the Brass Rail but figured I should submit a review. It's not the first time I have been there and hopefully not the last. Definitely well worth a visit. No cover charge unless you prefer to go upstairs to the Upper Brass. On this particular visit I did not. The decor is fairly nice maybe a little dated but not to dated although I was more interested in looking at the dancers instead of the wallpaper. The Upper Brass is a little more plush from what I remember. Seating is a little cramped but there is usually an open seat up front. Although the bouncers can get a little angry if you are standing in a walk way they always are helpful in finding you a seat so don't be intimidated or put off they are quite helpful. The doormen and ladies are also very polite. Drinks yes they are pricey but what would you expect. I hate when people complain about the price of drinks at strip clubs especially at the Brass Rail where there is no cover charge. I'll remind you again there is no cover so of course they try to make that up in the price of drinks. If you don't want to spend a lot on booze drink at home or in your hotel before going so all you need is a couple drinks to keep you satisfied. However if you are drinking I find the service very good. The dancers aren't the only ones looking for tips so are the waitresses but this is understandable so no problem with me. Now on to the dancers there are a lot of them there even on a Tuesday. All shapes and sizes for lack of a better term but all are 10's. Some of them can be a little pushy but again it's to be expected but they don't seem to be put off if you turn them down. All part of the game. I visit a favorite dancer when I go there and when I tell the other girls I'm waiting to see her they back off and even offer to go find her for me. When I first went to the Brass Rail a few years ago we had met then and found her not to be pushy and very talkative which is more my style. So all and all if in Toronto go to the Brass Rail you wont be disappointed. Ask for Caddy.
