I decided to give Pure Gold...

I decided to give Pure Gold a visit on their two dances for the price of one day. Wednesday is always a good visit because of this 'special'. In the past I found that dancers actually reminded patrons of the special. For the most part it was a good time. No special dances, and it is never a down and dirty nasty dance. It's a very clean club. But this visit disappointed me in one way. Today there were THREE dancers who overcharged me. It's never happened before at this place. And I guess I can understand perhaps on a two for one day that they'd overcharge by a half dance or so. But these were severely overcharges. I was on song number 3 and telling her that I'll stay for dance number four. She replies that it has already been 7 dances, do I want song number 8 or not. Like not even close to reality. That was a turn off to start. I almost felt like leaving, but I stayed because the rest of the girls are always honest. Not today. It happened two more times.

My advice with this club is to go with the more mature dancers. They are there all the time, if you go, you'll know them. They are good dancers. Honest. You can talk with them. Very nice women. You will have a good time. I suspect that it is the younger dancers, that probably dance at night, that have the heightened sense of entitlement. I'll just never get dances from them again. Not a good business model if this is your career.

I'll return. But frankly, it will be a while. 3 attempts to rob me has left me with a sour feeling of the club. It's a good time otherwise.
