After an extended absence from the Bird, I made my way back there on a weekday day shift. And that's usually my favorite time to go to the Bird. There's a decent dancer/customer ratio, which means not a lot of vying for dancers. On the other hand, as with most clubs, you can't expect much in the way of dancer quality on a weekday dayshift. But the Bird has generally been a bit surprising in terms of dayshift quality, and has always been in the high end of the scale as far as value. High mileage lap dances for only $10. Can't beat that. On my recent trip I just happened to be in Anaheim and decided to make a quick stop at Flamingo. And yeah, not much has changed. A few customers (usually old guys), and about the same number of dancers. I didn't recognize any of the dancers, and none really stood out as someone I'd need a lap from. So after maybe 1/2 hour I had to bail. Yeah, I'll be back cuz it's the Bird. One of my longtime favorite clubs.
