Early evening trip. only one stage open initially, then went to two. This place always seems to be hit or miss. There doesn' t seem to be any rhyme or reason, for example, end of month and rent is due can be a great time to go, or a lousy time. There can be 20 great gals working or 4 bored ones. When it is "on" it is an impressive club, I think better than the more popular Shotgun's down the street because of the variety of the dancers. Penthouse has young and older, skinny and more rounded, more ethnic variety too. Shotguns has gotten into a rut of mostly very young skinny oddly "costumed" dancers. Penthouse has more tatt'ed up gals but that goes with the variety. This visit was on the good side. Very good variety of ethnicity and body type, friendly but not pushy, will sit and chat or leave you alone if you wish. Some busty blondes who were pretty popular at the stages and seemed to be heading upstairs for private dances regularly. No upstairs trips for me, was in to check things out between other errands, stayed about an hour and was pleasantly surprised.
