This is definitely the MILF-iest club in Dallas. If a dancer tells you she's working to pay for college, she's talking about her daughter's tuition. But at least the girls here take their profession seriously. They look like strippers. They keep themselves in shape, put effort into appearance. I know that "girl next door" plays big to a lot of strip club patrons, but I go to strip clubs to see strippers. If I want to see the girl next door, I'll go next door. Pudgy with tattoos doesn't do it for me, and the Lodge is the one club in town where this doesn't represent a large demographic.

I'd also argue, probably not coincidentally, that this is the most mercenary club as well. These girls--or, I should say, women--are professionals, veterans. You can very clearly sense you're being sized up, whereas admittedly many girl next door types still have a bit of girlish naivete.

There are the Alex Rodriguezes and Albert Pujolses of the stripper game. They're not what they used to be, but once they were elite, and they can still produce. I keep the joint in the rotation, but often I'll walk out without having had a dance. Hit or miss, but the hits can be good.
