What a dump. That was my first thought upon rolling up to this place. Walked in on a Wednesday night, paid $5 cover. Pretty good size place inside, and very much in need of a face lift. The first thing that surprised me was the number of girls working. There were probably about 15 walking around, and about 10 customers in the place. Drinks weren't too pricey, and the bartender was quick and friendly.

The dancers ranged anywhere from 3's to 7's. I saw one 8. There was one stage running, and after every set the girls do the tip walk. As soon as I saw that, I knew that I wouldn't be spending long in this club. Then came the hustle for dancer drinks. About 3 girls plopped themselves down at my table. One was not at all attractive, obviously high, and very obnoxious. The other was actually one of the cuter girls in the place, but didn't have much personality. And the third was a reasonably attractive black girl that was pleasant enough to talk to. They immediately started demanding drinks - at $30 a piece plus $8 shots on the side. The waitresses are very much in on the dancer drink hustle here, and they clearly think that peer pressure will work. I flat out refused the $30 drinks, and eventually agreed to just buy drinks for myself and the one girl I was actually talking to. (For the record, I also hate places that push dancer drinks - if I want to lure a girl to my table with alcohol and have her just talk and not take of any clothes, I can do that at any normal bar or club for a LOT less than $30/drink). And that was basically it. Sat and had a couple drinks, threw out a few dollar tips after dances, and continually got harassed by the dancers and waitresses for over-priced dancer drinks. I left after about an hour, with plenty of money (that was budgeted for dances) still in my pocket.

Bottom line: it's not a horrible bar. The drinks were decent, and the price was right. If I came back (not that I would), I would sit at the bar, enjoy some cheap booze, watch the stage show, and hand out the occasional dollar when the girls walked by. Beyond that, the pushiness of the dancers and waitstaff, and the lack of effort to actually DANCE here was a real turn off, and I won't be returning.
