I had a few free passes...

I had a few free passes from the last time I was at Diva's, so I decided to stop in about 9:45 on a Sunday night. Free parking. The cover would have been $5.00 without the pass; I was wanded at the door.

This is a fairly gritty club (as evidenced, in part, by the wanding at the door). I like coming here because the dancers all definitely get nude on stage and let it all hang out. After getting a bottle of water at the bar ($3.75), I sat at a table not far from the stage. A bottle blonde, Jen, came by and asked if I wanted company. She was a decent conversationalist, who told me she had only worked there seven months but had worked in the business (all over the country) for 22 years. I would have guessed 32 years, and that figure rose some more when she finally mounted the stage.

All of the other dancers were younger, but they were either too thick or too thin for my taste. I only saw, at most, about 8 dancers. I tipped a few at the stage, but none of them really did it for me. I asked the floor manager if he had more girls coming in, and he showed me his clipboard that listed 16 dancers in the house right then. He said the rest were probably in the back and would be out soon. I couldn't wait. I bailed about 10:45 and headed to Camelot East, where I had a much more satisfying experience.
