This was my second visit to The Harem and my first was more enjoyable by far. I don't know whether I was lucky the first time or unlucky this time. Club doesn't open until 6 so I got there about 8:30. $10 cover before 8 and $20 after. Mandatory check ofl jackets for $2. Lot's of dancers sitting around and about 4 customers. $6 for a bottle of water. Sat down at the bar and was approached fairly quickly by a dancer who said she was from Amsterdam and was in NY studying dance. She didn't have a serious dancer's body, but it made for a good story. Lap dancers are $20 but are in a very well lit room with chairs against the wall and no privacy. She convinced me that a private room would afford us the chance to do whatever we wanted, $200 for the room. Got there and she pulled the curtains closed for complete privacy. Then the up sell started. $350 for FS on top of the room charge. Not interested in that price. Other options were offered but all equally overpriced. She finally asked how much I wanted to pay and I offered up $100. Out came a cover and a weak attempt at a CBJ. Wasn't working for me so I cut my losses and bailed.
