I was in the area for business and I have heard so much about this club from social media and the hip hop scene, I had to stop by. I chose the wrong night it seems. It was a Wednesday night and it was empty. I was able to see only 1 dancer on stage for the 30 minutes I was there. The bar tender was friendly and cute. The drinks lacked some of my top shelf brands but settled on Jack N coke. $12 a drink was expensive for such an empty club. The bartender told me that Mondays is the night to be at KOD. For such a famous place I expected a bit more on an off night. The good thing is that I received recommendation to visit The Office which was happening on Wednesday night.

I stood out at the club because Im a tall Mexican that looked out of place at a black club. Staff was friendly so I might give it a second chance on my next trip. Ill make sure to go on a Monday.
