Stopped by Players for lunch on...

Stopped by Players for lunch on Thursday, and had an excellent experience. Arrived at DTW airport around 11:30, and wanted to grab "lunch with benefits" before an afternoon meeting. Players had decent ratings for day shift on TUSCL, so I gave it a try. Thanks. guys!

Like several other clubs on Eight Mile Road, Players has a well-maintained, attractive physical plant. Mandatory valet was fine with me after driving up Gratiot Ave. from I-94 (and thanking my lucky stars it was daylight). Two story ceiling inside, with a roughly oval-shaped bar in the center surrounded by narrow. curved stages. A ring of small tables, then booths, were outside the stages. On the plus side, lots of seats at the bar (my usual abode); unfortunately, in order to watch the dancers you need to place your head on a swivel. In any case, the bartender (smokin' hot and efficient) brought my drink and took my food order while took in the place. At 12:30 or so, there were lunch customers on one side of the bar and 6-8 dancers playing with their mobile phones on the other. Two of the three stages were in use; by 1:00 or so, they were using all three, with dancers getting topless by the end of their set. Not much stage tipping, but some dancers took a loop around the bar after getting down from the third stage. Dancers were generally fit and appealing; no movie stars, but no homely or chubby ones, either.

The first girl to approach me may have been Detroit's version of Morganna, the "kissing bandit"--she said "Hello" with LFK. Tall, lean brunette with store-bought tits and a rough look to her face; she flirted with me until she got on stage, then returned for a drink. I sensed a desperate vibe, so I declined a room upstairs and did a couple LDs in a booth on the main floor. Suspicions confirmed, so I moved on. Next up, a mature, fit, beautiful Asian girl (Filipina, as it turned out) offered pleasant conversation. Intelligent discussion was followed by a confession of her open-mindedness and a trip upstairs. The booths are very well-appointed, comfortable, roomy, and private (curtains still in place). Things went well, largely guided by her professional yet sweet and sensitive manner, although I confess to the PL mistake of letting my little head take over the negotiations. Very sensuous experience; overall, I'd characterize the VIP visit as premium-priced but worth it.
