First Brass visit this year: Pretty much as I recall from last year, save for some small nuances. To recap..................

COSTS: My first surprise of the night was a lesson to read the fine print on the "Nuvo" passes. The very fine print on pass says "not valid after 9pm Fridays and Saturdays". So it's $8 cover charge tonight, not sure if that would be the case on earlier weeknights. Called mixed drinks were $6.25, a 96oz beer tankard (which several tables ordered) goes for $22.

ATMOSPHERE/STAGES: Club was surprisingly slow for a Friday night. Maybe being able to find a parking spot in regular parking lot should have provided a clue. Arrival shortly after 9 was easy to find a table as only half the tables were taken, with very few customers stageside. Still, there were always at least 2 dancers on stage, mostly 3 rotating to a different pole section each song for a total of a 3 song dance set. Stageside interaction was mostly good, though my first tip was uninspiring as dancer just took tip with her hand (no stevies), and asked for another dollar. No thanks, babe, not the best way to make a good first impression.
