Arrived a little after 11:00 pm...

Arrived a little after 11:00 pm Memorial Day evening. I was picking up someone at Detroit Metro airport. Flight arrival was delayed from 10:00 pm until 2:00 am. so I had plenty of time to kill. I did not want to go to one of the nearby smoky alcohol serving clubs so I headed to non-alcohol Déjà Vu in Ypsilanti.

Nearby well lit public street and lot meter parking is free at night. They accepted my printed web site cover pass and only charged me for the $6 unlimited fountain soft drink.

The club set-up has been described previously so I won’t go in to detail except for the recent remodel since my last visit. As you enter the club the small bar is still to your left, the stage is straight ahead along the back wall. What has changed is that there used to be two curtained VIP booths along the wall to your left. The VIP booth in the corner furthest from the stage has been removed and a secondary circular island stage with one pole surrounded by seating is now in that corner of the room. This stage was not being used the night I was there. I was told it is typically used on weekend nights.
