Mpire's happy hour is a great deal. $5 for full pints of Dogfish Head, Fat Tire, Brooklyn Lager, or Allagash White from 4-7 weekdays.

The dancer lineup, however, is limited. There'll often be only three dancers working, and some of them don't bother to sit with customers. The overall atmosphere tends to be very slow during the day time. The bartenders are friendly, but I've even seen a guy in there with a stack of papers, apparently doing work. Not a bad idea, really. Even a few dancers still means half a dozen breasts on display every half-hour.

Things pick up at night. Relatively few dancers have implants, and there's more racial diversity than Camelot next door. Whether coincidentally or not, the club is never as crowded as Camelot next door, so the DC clientele might just want white girls with big tits.
