I've never been to a hostess...

I've never been to a hostess bar. So this was a new experience. I arrived at about 9pm on a Saturday night. There was a $12 cover charge. I walked into the lobby. There were about 15 men standing around. There was a long sofa with about 15 girls sitting. There was no interaction between the two groups. I wasn't sure what to do or why no one was approaching any of the women. Eventually I asked one of the cashiers what to do. She said pick a girl and take her to the dance floor. So I picked a girl and we went to the dance floor. The dancing area is really small. Maybe 20'x15'. There was one other couple there. A few minutes later there was an announcement over the loudspeaker offering a special of 10 free minutes when you buy 20. Suddenly the dance floor was full of couples. So that is why all the men were standing around when I came in . If you wait, you can take advantage of specials.

The girl I was with was fun. She spoke English pretty well. There was a lot of body contact but nothing explicit. It was really just friendly dancing with a pretty girl. It was fun and I will likely return at some point.

The price was $36/hour.
