Not my first trip to Lou...

Not my first trip to Lou Turks, and definitely not my last. Turks has been a staple of Delaware County for many many years. I remember a time when the place had one stage, and the dancers had to set their own music. A few years ago, Turks was remodeled, and has become a very nice club with quality bars, girls, and DJ. Every time I'm there, there's at least 12 or so girls working. Three stages are open on weekend nights and two on weeknights. The drinks are good, cold beers and moderately strong mixed drinks. As like any bar, treat the bartenders right from the start, and they'll make sure you don't end up with an empty glass. Very diverse mix of girls, very pale white to very dark skinned and every skin color in between, very thin to very thick, a taste for anyone. Lap-dances can be had for $20 in the back, full of benches and partitions between them, and private dances can be had for $30 in a even smaller, quieter room. Good mix of security throughout, and a DJ that knows what to play and when to play it, even keeps a good mix of rock music on the speakers. My only negative thing to say is that Lou Turks is a smoking bar. Not a deal breaker, I'm sure it keeps business alive and well.

All in all, great club, good dancers, and cold drinks. If your ever in Essington, swing by Turks, you wont be dissappointed! -BJMills
