A couple of visits this month;...

A couple of visits this month; having some concern that the quality of this place is slipping away. Mileage can still be through the roof for non-outrageous prices, but that's of little comfort when none of the dancers appeals to you -- either because of their looks or the number of times you've danced with them before. Same old, same old dancers -- and though I generally LIKE older dancers, none of the good vets have been in casa on my visits. Physically and staff-wise, the club is running fine: interior remodel is a nice improvement, lights & sound are under control, staff seems to have taken a course on customer service as they are actually being pretty cool (which means staying out of the way for the most part). Pricing still the same: $15 admission, plus $5 drink; $120 for 3-song VIP (they have topless/nude lap dances on the floor too, but it has been years since I've done one and don't even know pricing; VIP is the ticket here). The DJ puts girls on stage if someone sits at the rail; always a plus. My problem lies with the selection of dancers: Passion and Melody and Allison are chunky, junk in the trunk, DD girls (not Allison) who seem to lack enthusiasm; Gina is another DDD heavyweight who seems plenty enthusiastic -- so much I'm afraid she'll squash my wimpy ass. Cassandra is another chunky Latina with short legs; somewhat sexy in a "cheap pop in the alley" sort of way, but not my style. Serena is a tiny spinner, but looks about 15 (even has braces!) and that just creeps me out too much (and I don't want "battle wounds"). Leaving Joey (blonde and spunky; very nicely fleshed out since unhealthy-looking "heroin thin" look of a few years ago; but she performed unsatisfactorily for me once and although I like her look I try not to keep banging my head) or Lily (mid-30s, thin brunette, seems unhappy in her work a lot of the time). As you see, nothing I'm getting too excited about; and that's the kiss of death for a club when there's so much competition in this town.
