I arrived around 4:30 as I was dealing with the infamous Atlanta traffic. I walked in with no parking or entrance fee and tried to find my way to a bar and/or the music. I write this…..as there are so many mirrors in the entrance area that you can become confused as to where to go. There were two bars in operation (I found out later) and at one bar there are 2 small dance floors. Not sure if this is a typical day, but there were many more dancers than customers. I got a beer (about $5 – typical) and talked with a young dancer who was bored beyond belief. I asked her if this was typical and she replied, “lately this is all that is occurring here at this time of day”.

Most dancers were in the age range of early 20’s to late 20’s and ranged from 6 to 8. All lap dances I saw were mostly air.

There was very little energy in the club and after finishing my beer, I decided that watching brake lights might be better than watching naked girls. You know it is bad when I will take brake lights over naked girls……….but that is the way I found Mardi Gras on this visit.
