In the area where Mac's exists, it benefits highly from being one of only two clubs in proximity ("The Club", formerly The Blue Moon, being the other). This place tends to resemble a Boston style experience, whereas The Club is a little more trashy in feel. Both places get harassed more than anywhere in southern MA or Providence; if they don't I don't really understand what they're doing. The Club may give you a better contact dance (rarely), but Mac's is still probably the better bet.

Located just a few minutes off Route 3 (and maybe 10 minutes from 495), Mac's has some serious flaws. No booze, but a drink minimum that the waitresses push on you. The other critical flaw is in my experience a hard and fast no-contact rule. Any way you slice it, that sucks.

There is also some real upside to be had. The girls here are LEGIT if you hit at a busy time (nights, and weekend nights), the most common body type being tight/athletic and a girl-next-door kind of vibe. They are also friendly and usually feature a pretty face. Since they acknowledge that value is pretty poor, you'll actually see your dollar go a long way, since there isn't the backroom tease to leave your balls blue and wallet empty.
