I finally stopped by the Sportmans...

I finally stopped by the Sportmans Inn last Saturday toward the end of the afternoon. I had been inside this club several years ago, but didn’t hang around then, and felt no inclination to return. But last Saturday I was in the mood for something different, so I thought I would check it out. Some effort has been made to clean the club up since I was last here, and this time I didn’t have to step over a single homeless person to get though the front door, and the entry way itself had been cleaned and didn’t have the dirty feel to it that I remembered.

The club itself seems quite odd. It is long and thin with the stage stuck in the middle. The lower bar has a view of the stage, but the larger bar at the back has a very limited view of the action. This is probably a mixed blessing as whilst there are girls here who are kind of easy on the eye, there are also a number of girls who really shouldn’t be allowed to walk around in their underwear.

To get a dance you need to buy tickets at the bar in advance ($5 each) – which seemed a little odd, but I was told that if you want more dances ($20) than you have tickets for, you can pay for the extra tickets afterwards (but I didn’t test this). A pleasant surprise was that the private dances are in a fairly private area. There are no doors, but the dance booths are fairly private, which allows some of the girls to go a little further than the bikini bar rules ordinarily allow. I had a few dances with a few different girls and as expected found that the mileage will vary, but as I wasn’t a regular, I didn’t get too far.
