I have been clubbing in Philadelphia...

I have been clubbing in Philadelphia for more than 5 years and I never had the opportunity to visit Club Risque. Primarily because I had my three-four clubs that I liked for various moods and crowds and never had the need to experiment. However, last month, I went to my all time favorite club to visit my all time favorite girl. Unfortunately, she has inexplicably called in sick. I found that the club really lacked something without her so we decided to go try out Club Risque.

First impressions were not great. For one, there was no outside security. Some random guy was directing parking and then asking for tips. However, it was apparant he was not employed by the club and was just a random. I felt the club should curb this behavior so I was of initial disappointment.

The front of the club was nice but also down to earth, without pretentions. I liked that...so I felt a little better. We proceeded into the club. This is one of those clubs where the main stage is INSIDE the bar. Normally, I despise this setup as I am not able to approach the ladies. However, after some observation, I realized that there were no less than 4 additional small stages spaced throughout the crowd. The ladies rotated among them, sometimes confusingly so, allowing me ample opportunity to approach them.
