Shotgun Willies couldn’t be more different from Maxim, which I had just left. Shotgun Willies is on a well lit, main thoroughfare in a suburban commercial district. It’s located in a large upscale looking building with in a fenced parking lot. Valet parking is available, but not required. I self-parked and was not charged for it. Once in the door, there is a short hallway. At the end is counter where the doorman collects the cover charge ($10). Behind him is a large display of cigars for sale (no one was smoking them while I was there, which was a relief). Past the doorman, you take a right and enter the main club, which is pretty big and classy looking There are several bars around the exterior perimeter. There is no main stage. Instead, the interior if take up by a series of small stages zig zagging across the floor, I believe there were seven in all, all but once of which was in use the whole time I as there (about an hour). At the other end there is a private dance area with no privacy, just a couple of rows of chairs open to the world. I didn’t see anybody use it while I was there, but it wasn’t because it was a slow night. I was there on a Sunday evening. Although not packed, the place was hopping. The crowd looked to be mainly young hipsters. The dancers were all extraordinarily high quality. I wouldn’t rate any below a seven, and most were 9s or 10s. Almost all appeared college age with natural tits and looked great. Each girl raked in dollars bills during each dance on the mini-stages. This is the first club I have been to in a while where the girls appeared to make their money from stage tips versus pushing table dances or VIP dances. In fact, I didn’t see any private dances going on while I was there, nor was I approached for one. I didn’t even see any dancers hanging around chatting up customers for dances. This club seemed to all about making money from dancing on the stages, and the dancers seemed to make a lot of it that way. There was a back room at the far end where people when in and out occasionally. Not sure what that was about—a members only area? I didn’t inquire. All in all, a very classy establishment with very pretty girls. Hopefully, next time I'm in Denver I'll have time to stop in again when it's not so busy and see if more personal service can be had. The biggest drawback was the price of beer: $6.50.
