Odyssey seems to have the local...

Odyssey seems to have the local reputation as one of the "go to" places in Tampa. There are a lot of clubs here, and a lot of them within a fairly short drive of each other. So, when I get to town, I will alternate between one of the faves where I can pretty-much rely on having a great time, with one of the others that I haven't sampled lately.

So, it was time to head back to 2001 on this night. I wasn't particularly seeking extras, just wanted a fun night, looking at -- and hopefully having some good convo with -- some gorgeous flirty women. I don't know what conventions were happening this week, but there were more out-of-town-(seeming) businesspeople getting their thrills on. Odyssey was packed for a Thursday night, but a good-sized group of dancers kept the up-front action going on stage. I didn't go private with any of them, but it seemed like a LOT of the men were looking for that....maybe on their last night in town... i don't know. On previous visits here, I was able to strike up some conversation, but several of the hottest women were pretty quick to move on, with more "urgent" clientele available. I felt like I was at an overcrowded bar, more than a club to watch sexy performers. (I'll admit that it may have just been MY attitude or my experience on a night where a lot of other guys were enjoying things just fine, thankyou!"

The women, as most of the locals expect, were pretty hot, and pretty talented. Looks and bodies in the 6-to-9 range, with a couple of significantly-impressive stunners that night. The dances on stage were amazing, even if you watch from a ways back. They seem to have fun, and enjoy the side conversations as well. That adds a LOT to the atmosphere.
