I thoroughly enjoyed my visits at gallaghers while in nyc this past summer. I went right after work at around 7 pm, but still plenty of very good looking dancers on stage. There is a large stage area that i'm sure is occupied at night, but only the stage behind the bar was occupied. Dancers there were very friendly and would walk around to come chat when not dancing. A lot of Russian girls, but a good mix and variety. Drink prices were as expected. The dances themselves are far and away anything better then your going to get in NYC. There 20 bucks, they take you upstairs and away from the crowd, topless, and let you touch and suck as much as you want. They aren't monitored at all and get extremely personal. Private dances will run you close to 200 bucks for about 40 minutes alone. A little bit more then what you can get when you get a lap dance, but nothing too over the top (I got a private dance twice). Bar itself is what you expect from a strip club, dark, not too modern, but definitely not dirty or trashy either. A great place to go after work to have a few beers and unwind. I would absolutely recommend over any place else I went to in the city.
