My husband and I decided to get dinner at Ricks on Wednesday. The valet was $15 - pretty standard for Minneapolis. There are a few parking garages around for those who don't want to spend the money. The first thing that struck me upon entering was the excellent service. I very much felt like it was an upscale place from the valet to the coat check. We were evn greeted by a manager when we were at our table. The cover was $6. We entered and sat at the bar. It was lit up and looked very classy. Water can only be bought in bottles of water (voss). I was annoyed until I saw they come in glass bottles. It was pricey - $10 for 12 oz. We got drinks on their happy hour which was a great deal. Much better than the water...

After 15 mins or so we sat down at a table by the side stage but we're able to view the main stage as well. There's no pole on main but was on side stage. It was mounted on a piano, a nice touch of decor. I got chicken quasadillas and my husband got the burgers. Can't be beat for the price!

A girl sat with us and chatted for a while. She was very nice but we weren't ready for our dances yet. There was a shift change at around 7. The Dj lined up all the girls. Some had hats and others shirts that they tried to sell with 3 for 2 lap dances. The night shift girls didn't approach us for at least an hour. Finally a dancer approached. She was polite and funny. She sat with us for a few songs before asking to dance for me. We bought a dance for me and another for my husband.
