I've been a visitor to the Ybor Strip for a little over 10 years now, and I make sure to hit it whenever I'm passing through the Tampa area. It's definitely an old favorite, and it's rarely disappointed.

It had been nearly a year since I'd had a chance to visit, but I was in town about a week ago and was able to spend some time at good old Scarlett's. The parking lot was getting crowded when I pulled in, so I had to park around the side of the building in the back lot. It was a little darker around there, and I felt a little uneasy coming around that way with that area of town not looking like the safest, but everything worked out.

They offer a $5 off coupon on their website, so make sure you print that out and bring it along. It'll save you a few bucks on the door fee that can go toward the dancers instead. When I got there it was around 9pm or so, and the place was pretty busy. I grabbed a chair next to one of the round tables near the back and settled in to watch the show for a while before getting any dances. There are always girls circulating and looking for dances, and I turned down a couple of them right after I arrived.
