Accidentally ran into this place on a weekend trip in San Diego to see the Chargers-Chiefs game on 10/30. My buddy and I were staying at a hotel no less than a block away from the club. On our way down to the Gaslamp District to party with the rest of the Halloweeners on Saturday night, it was agreed that we finish the evening at Cheetah's and we would just stroll back to the hotel room afterwards.

Arrived at the club at around midnight after a very good time in several bars and clubs down at the Gaslamp. This is a good way to go since Cheetah's doesn't serve alcohol, so it was nice to get a head start. Paid the front doorguy $18.00 for the cover and two drink tickets. Included for the price of admisson was a VIP card good thru October 2006. Not exactly sure what this VIp does in the future, but we pocketed it anyway. Had a seat at a table just in front of the bar and ordered our first set of soft drinks. Pretty nice layout to the club with continuous stage shows throughout the night. What got a little annoying for us was when a dancer finished her set on stage, she would make her way around the room asking EVERYONE for a tip. Not just the dudes stageside, but from EVERYONE. At times, my friend and I would be talking and we wouldn't notice the dancer just standing in front of us not saying anything until we gave her a dollar each and she would walk away. Some of them were freindly when they asked for a tip but others were just plain pissy. My friend and I experimented as to what would happen if we didn't tip with one girl. Turns out, she gave us the bitchiest look ever and said something unitelligible to us. It was pretty scary. But it was Halloween weekend. So what? I suggest to the girls that if that is the norm around there (which it is), have something imaginative to say and make us laugh as we give you a dollar. It makes everyone happy in the end.

My friend usually has one type of woman that he goes for -- the blonde, big-breasted, cookie-cutter type Barbie girl. There were definitel a few that night for him. He selected Paris, a cute and shy blonde, petite and B-C cups. It seemed like that they were hitting it off well out on the floor as I saw them laughing in conversation. When she finally asked him for a VIP dance, I handed her $40.00 and away they went.
