I have been to Kama Sutra...

I have been to Kama Sutra multiple times during my adventures in Montreal. It is in the heart of Le Plateau one block off St Laurent. This last time, as in many ties before, I arrived after a night of drinking with only an hour to go till close (around 2 am). I highly recommend coming earlier in the night as the ratio of dancers to costumers can be quite low late night, and you may struggle to get a dance from the girl you want. This is very different than say, The Rhino, out in Vegas, where girls are constantly approaching you for dances. If you want to get a private dance from top talent you will have to be aggressive, if arriving later in the evening.

The layout is simple with a coat check when you walk in, where you pay a small cover. Inside there is a small circular stage, and three vip booths, reserved for bottle service customers. If you find a girl you like you can head back to one of the small private rooms. The girls at Kama Sutra, but ymmv when it comes to how great the lap dances. I unfortunately picked one gorgeous girl one night, who was a horrible dancer, and would allow absolutely no touching. OTOH, I have also had the best lap dance of my life from a girl, who goes by Jessica (pronounced Yessica). Overall Kama Sutra has top talent in a casual atmposphere and is a superior alternative to the strip clubs in the Downtown Area (like the awful super sex) and is best enjoyed with some friends after a night on the prowl. I'm sure I will return in the future, but it's certainly not a must see when visiting Montreal.
