Well, I finally got down to...

Well, I finally got down to the Mexican border with enough time to enjoy a lengthy visit to Zona Norte, and one of the places I spent some time (and $$$) at was Hong Kong Club. As I had expected, my experience was not as enjoyable as I've been reading about here. Yes, there are some very hot girls; yes, your money goes a long way; and yes, with many girls you can do pretty much whatever you desire (but not all girls, so get the details before you buy), but my experience was that the girls are not really into it, they're rather mechanical even about DFK when that's available. I hooked up with a number of girls, and I had a waiter (Roberto) fronting for me, since I speak no Spanish. Roberto cost me a bit, but he sort of "filtered" the girls I wanted, letting me know which ones would deliver and which would not, so it was worthwhile. But even at their best, the veneer of fake romance was heavy in the air, if you know what I mean, which took away from my enjoyment of the experience.

I did, however, have a very good experience in the Zona Norte, but not in Hong Kong. I hung out there for a few hours, and at one point I decided to "explore" the area. I met a number of fairly cute street girls, but they were about sex, and I wasn't interested. As I strolled along the streets, I passed PlayBoy Club, and a wizened old lady came running after me trying to convince me to come in and try it out. I don't know why they let her do that, she surely scares off more potential customers than she attracts! But in any case, as I stood there listening to her rant, David, a maître de at PlayBoy Club, came up to me and said why don't you come in and check it out, there's no cover charge. I came in, and there, sitting on a stool, was the girl of my dreams. They had a great deal which gave me an hour in a private booth with her, where we really hit it off and had lots of fun, but that's a story for another review (I'll be posting a review of that club on tuscl shortly).

IMHO, if you're like me, and you want some "chemistry" along with the rest of your fantasy, you will rarely find it here, nor at Adelita's (I'll be posting a short review there too). In US clubs, where the style is about spending time with the girl, you're more likely to make a worthwhile connection that allows a relationship to develop rather than just the sexy stuff. I have ATFs in a number of clubs, girls whose company we mutually enjoy, besides the other stuff. But Zona Norte is still worth a visit!
