Was passing through so I decided to stop. Now, I had visited about a month ago and had a ball, but this time not so much. First thing, I got there when they opened (noon on a Sunday) and Kelly was setting up the bar, the bartender and dancers were late, so I sat down and ordered a soda. She told me that there should be a dancer there any time. About 15 minutes later the bartender showed up and Kelly left. And I sat. And I sat. And I sat. Was just about to leave when anouther girl showed up (who by the way thought she was supost to bartender) and her and the bartender got into a discussion about it. She was kinda pissy about driving all the way in and not being able to bartender, she guessed she could dance since there were about a half dozen guys and no dancers yet so she went into the back to change (I guess she did both and has clothes there). After 10 minutes she came out and asked for a couple of bucks for the juke box so she could dance, I gave them to her and got a half hearted dance from her that only lasted about half the song. She then asked me if I wanted to go behind the curtain, I asked if anything extra was on the menu and she said absolutely NOT! Well, I needed to get to St. Louis anyways so I decided it was time to make my getaway (by the way, had a great time in St. Louis at Dollies). Next time I'm through I will stop again, hopefully it will be more like my first visit.
