This was my first time going...

This was my first time going to The Runway. I live very close but didn't know that Gems had been replaced as the family said they didn't like the strip club idea. I went in a little after midnight on Saturday. There was a 2 dollar cover and they gave you a raffle ticket as they called out a free lap dance every hour. I will say I have never heard of a lap dance raffle before. The facility is nice. It is one big room with two round stages, a room length bar and the DJ off in the corner. The are a lot of love seat style seating back from the stage and chairs if you want to sit at the tip rail.

The club seemed about 75% full. A lot of women patrons as well. The dancers gave special attention to them, coming off the stage many times to do so. They also brought up one woman and felt her up/danced with her. There was not much consistency in using both stages so it was hard to get a front row seat. The women were actually very pretty. I had wondered how hard it would be to lure talent to Hillsboro. Seems like for weekends at least, it can be done. Fully nudity looks to be an option based on the dancers preference.

As far as lap dances go, the web site says they have private booths and a VIP champagne room. I did see both of them. Turns out though, they are turning the much more private area into video lottery so it is closed. That is a shame for sure. I did get a dance which was 30 a song. That is the most expensive lap dance I have ever gotten. She was good and made almost worth the money as she was completely nude. She did tell me different dancers will charge 25 for topless and 40 for full nude. She broke it right down the middle for everything. It is not very private though. There is a person right outside keeping track and other dancers/customers can walk by you to another booth. The dancers swipe a card which charges the dancers by the minute when giving a private show. I have never seen that type of pay model used before.
