My buddy and I were in town for a wedding and we thought we check out a club or two in NOLA. We decided on Penthouse first since it was a quick walk over from the hotel.  I believe it was $12 each to get in. They stamped our hands which allows you to come and go without paying for readmission

The club is pretty small, but is very nice inside. I’ve been to a couple of other Penthouse clubs in Detroit and Tampa, and both were bigger than the NOLA location.  Club was pretty crowded on a Sunday night. Drinks were typical club prices ($8-$9 for beer, mixed drinks were more).  The girls were mostly hot (7-9 range), with a fair amount of natural talent on the main stage.  Private lap dances were $40/song, which is too high for the experience I had - Dancer seemed less than interested, and just went through the motions. Stage show was good though, but I didn’t want to chance another lackluster private performance for $40. My buddy had 2 dances from different girls, and said both were just OK, but nothing memorable.

Waitress service was good and kept bringing drinks. Not too much hustle from the dancers in the club, which was nice. Music was the usual club stuff, songs trimmed a bit, but not terribly loud, and the DJ wasn’t obnoxious. We hung out for maybe 90 minutes total, then headed off in search of our next club.
