I was in the area on a golfing junket and my foursome chose Thee Dollhouse for our recent Monday entertainment. While the interior of Thee Dollhouse is quite nice and comfortable due to some recent renovations - the parking lot could use the same kind of attention. Maybe the the flow of confusion (signs) in the back of the club parking lot works for the valet - it aggravates this driver to valet my car at a strip club! I didn't succumb to the planned cash grab in the parking lot and found the free parking option back there. Next we stepped into the club to a $10 night time entry fee, which I don't find unreasonable. Then there was the meet n' greet marketing plug by the Manager (pushing the more privileged amenities of the club) before you can see the "common man's" seating choices in the club. This "common man" was quite comfortable out on the floor, after losing the manager with a courteous discard. The talent on display Monday was decent and rated by me to represent 6's to 9's, with limited 9's. The contact in the club was medium touch, with an occasional suggestion by an entertainer, or two, that "takeout was available". The take out was offered without an inquiry being made. I don't typically receive such offers so quickly, but I was "out of towner" on a golf outing. I was informed by an attentive massage girl of most of the basic club details and her breakdown was quite accurate. I turned down a massage, but tipped her generously for sharing the basic pricing breakdown (dancer and massage). I bounced around the club and the dancers that attracted my attention were detained. I was approached by Carmela and offered a dance and accepted the offer to experience the lap dance area. Carmela's version of the dance price was $30/dance with a $10 dollar room fee. I went with the offer and received a few dances. $90 for 3 dances and $30 for the room fee! The amusing part to me was that Carmela wanted a tip on top of the $120 for 3 "mediocre" dances where she passed her charge back fee to the club on to me. I don't care about the initial $10 overcharge, or the actual $30 overcharge, and I paid $120. Carmela hung in with a persistent request for a tip and I told her the entire experience was non tip worthy and to enjoy her evening. What I wouldn't do is create a scene over $20 in a club where I'm unknown and I proceeded to negotiate every fee detail from the rest of my evenings entertainer's, Yes, I received discount pricing after Carmela and every dancer that took $25 a dance with no fee can thank "artists" such as Carmella for the 2 way negotiations. Overall the visit was a good visit and entertaining! I would go back with the caveat that one must pay attention to the contemporary standard price structure of Thee Dollhouse and that there certainly is an unofficial floating price structure in play whenever opportunity knocks. If there's a next time - I'll pay standard pricing, but the terms will be spelled out.
