I stopped here while driving up...
I stopped here while driving up to Boston for a business meeting. I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting a dive. There is a large U shaped stage right next to the bar as you walk in with a back room with tables and a pool table. There was food available, but I try not to eat at strip clubs. There were a lot of dancers and the bar was moderately crowded. It seemed that there were a lot regulars as many of the dancers seemed to know the patrons.
The dancers came in a variety of shapes and sizes and mostly pretty good looking. What also surprised me was that there was no dollar parade after dancing a set. If you want to tip a dancer, you need to grab a seat around the stage. For a couple of dollars, you can get an up close and personal view of your favorite dancers. While sitting at the bar a tall AA dancer approached me and got quite touchy for a Mass. club. I bought her a drink and she promised me quite an experience if I took her back for a dance. I didn't take her up on the offer, but will keep Mario's on my list of clubs to stop by if I'm in the area.
Parking was free, beers were around 5.50 and drinks a couple of dollars more. There was no entrance fee in the afternoon.
