I went into the Silver Dollar...

I went into the Silver Dollar because I was up in Aberdeen on work business and figured why not check it out. I was there during the fall hunting season, and usually in South Dakota that means there will be more and higher quality dancers. Not so this time. Silver Dollar was a major disappointment.

There was probably 6 or 8 dancers in the bar, but only one or two would I consider even mildly attractive. Call me crazy, but if I am going to spend money on a dance or to just talk with a woman, I do want her to meet some minimum standards in terms of physical appearance. The bar was not particularly crowded and I bought a beer just to feel like I wasn't being rude. As I nursed my beer, I did try to make eye contact with the couple of dancers that were to my taste, but didn't have any luck. In fact, I wasn't approached by a single dancer the entire time I sat there.

It didn't take me long to decide that I wasn't spending my time wisely by hanging out in the bar, and I got out of there after one drink. It was an experience I would not recommend, though in Aberdeen the Silver Dollar is your only option if you want to hit a strip club. You can swing by if you are in town (one plus--there was no cover charge) but I definitely would not make any special trip to go to this place.
