It's sad that places like this...

It's sad that places like this exist. If only I had visited TUSCL before coming here with some friends and getting taken for a ride. I guess you should know better when there are "no refunds" signs literally everywhere you look. And that there was virtually no one in the club. Those things alone should have tipped us off. Let me describe the experience as an unsuspecting customer.

Approaching the club it appears passable from the outside. Pictures on the wall under an awning lead you to believe that this is a quasi-world famous sort of place that has attracted all sorts of feature dancers. The lady at the front desk was charming enough, informing us it would be $30 just to walk in the door for each of us. This seemed a little steep, but hey Vegas isn't as cheap as it once was. After having a lengthy discussion in the parking lot, a bouncer came out and told us he would cut us a break and let us all in for half price. My spider sense went off and I should have heeded the call. But we went inside and grabbed a spot near the stage. The girls dancing there certainly looked attractive enough. Not 10s by any means but certainly the ones I saw were 7s or 8s.

After spending a little bit of time taking in the atmosphere and watching the girls onstage, we were approached by a woman that worked there and she gave us the spiel on private dances. They have these private rooms in the back, each of which is equipped with a bed where we were told the dancer would give us a private dance if we were interested. She went on to explain that the house charged $80, plus an additional tip to the dancer, suggesting $120 to make it an even $200 for a 30 minute session. This sounded reasonable, comparable to the price of a few private dances at any of the clubs I have ever been to. The woman took my credit card and asked for an additional tip for "preparing the room" for us so I threw her a few bucks. When she got back, I was handed a credit card recipt for $233, with the explanation that they charge extra for CC transactions. I should have torn it up and called fraud prevention right then, but I pressed on. I had already picked out a girl, who I followed back to one of the rooms. I figured I would at least enjoy some time with her and call it a day. The girl even told me that she would throw in another 5 minutes for free and picked up an electronic timer for that purpose.
