Dropped in early on a mid-week...

Dropped in early on a mid-week afternoon. Haven't been here for a year or more. The main seating area has shrunk a bit and a new VIP area has been added on the main floor. The chairs in the main area are the same -- "bucket" swivel seats around small tables. Back in the day, most dancers could squeeze in and still give a good grind. There are upholstered bench seats in at least some of the VIP areas. When I entered there was a dancer sitting on stage for her set; couldn't blame her, no one was really interested in watching her dance. There was one customer seated at a table back to stage, engaged in conversation with a dancer, and another customer sitting at the bar talking to a small group of dancers and bartender. I sat for a while waiting for my eyes to adjust from the glaring Arizona sunlight and a dancer came out from the back and immediately started to hustle. I don't know why, but she wasn't my type or I wasn't ready yet, so I told her I just arrived and she could check back later after I had a drink. After a few songs I was still sitting, the other dancers and bartender were still engaged in conversations, no one was dancing on stage yet, and no one had come by to take a drink order. I decided the lack of energy didn't warrant hanging around, so I left. Maybe I just came in too early and no one had really started to work yet.
