My first Dixie Divas experience had been about a year earlier, and I can't say that it did anything to facilitate my return. I'd met a great looking Latina dancer who said she'd "be right back," but never returned. The same night I'd gotten some attention from another girl that I was not particularly interested in.

But on a recent trip to New Orleans, I decided to give it another go. I know what you're getting into on Bourbon St - a lot of money with mixed results. So I figured why not take a stroll down to Dixie Divas.

Shortly after taking a seat at the bar, a fine young black dancer struck up conversation. She convinced me to spend some time upstairs. The upstairs room is an open space with a number of couches and chairs in the same room - no real privacy. Although we had the space to ourselves, I imagine that if another customer/dancer were up there, it would be rather awkward.
