This is the first time I went to Rick's. It was on a Thursday after work, sometime around 5:30pm. Since it was still considered the afternoon, I didn't have to pay the $20 cover. The coat check was free, but I always tip the coat check staff. I went with some co-workers, so we were seated at a table not too far from the bar. All of the drinks were $8 before 8pm, which is a great deal. The lap dances are the standard rate of $20 per song (which is 4-5mins each song). The dancers were decent; the only strip club I have been to is Ricks, so I don't have any other clubs to compare the dancer quality with. The lap dances are low mileage; hands to the side, and no groping. However, in my experience, I was able to be a little more handsy with some of the girls, by YMMV. If you treat the dancers right, buy them a drink or too, and have actual conversations with them, the dancers will treat you right. Overall Rick's is a good Strip Club. I've been there 2 more times since this, and I have enjoyed myself every time. Now I need to explore the other Strip Clubs in NYC...
