I should have gone anywhere else....
I should have gone anywhere else. In town overnight on a Saturday. Was staying near Love Field, For some reason I decided to head from the North side to the South side and to Lady Love II. It was raining so hard I couldn't even see, had to get off the interstates and wend my way through town. Parked in a muddy dirt lot beside the club. Police car sitting in the lot with a blue light on in his windshield. Security guard pops out the door, wants $5 cover. I hand him my $20, then realize he's wrestling this loud talking chick out the door. They continue to argue and semi-tussle until he decides to give me my change. Place was packed shortly after midnight despite the weather. More than one-third females in the club, mostly local neighborhood type, emphasis on the hood. If the females looked like they weighed less than 300lbs - must be a customer. There were whole crews of female customers. Got a beer at the bar and found the only seat in the place. It was near the door. After about 3 minutes, homeboy shows up looking for his seat. And I was in it. He didn't say anything, just put his bottles down and looked at me in his seat. I got out his seat and made it back to the bar. Perched myself on a four legged chair with one broken leg and balanced on the chair and the bar. Got two how you doings from dancers passing by. Saw two dancers on stage. Something was going on in through a glass door leading to what looked like an enclosed patio. I didn't venture to get close enough to that door to see what was going on. Maybe a pool table ? No idea. Didn't seem too smart to be that inquisitive. Rough place to be when you're from out of town. I left after a total of about 20 minutes. I was there 20 minutes too long. I saw no lap dances, even the stage dances weren't worth a damn. And lots of 300 pound plus patron dancing and partying like they were at the club. Just horrible.
