Gentlemen's club set up has not...
Gentlemen's club set up has not changed. Parking is free and easy in a strip mall lot right off 77. The club is spacious and dark. Chairs could be updated. A Beer was about $6, standard for daytime at a club.
Friday was fairly crowded from both a customer and dancer point of view for a day shift at The Gentlemen's Club. Charlotte will never be confused with Atlanta for daytime activities in strip clubs, but Friday was about as good as it gets at TGC.
However, the mood at TGC was a bit subdued. I learned that my favorite club bartender, Sandy, died this week. Sandy was mid 50's a former entertainer, and was always fun and up beat. I think she had been tending bar for over 11 years at TGC. I knew Sandy well, and had seen her about 2 months ago here. I am not really sure what happened, other than she got really sick and died.
I did get a few dances from 2 different dancers. The first dancer told me that she just started at TGC after getting fired at The Crazy Horse. Getting fired sounded good to me, but unfortunately her firing was not for going to far with a customer. Dances were solid for Charlotte, good solid grinding, but nothing earth shattering. After 2 dances she really started pushing the VIP which is just not worth it in my opinion here. The VIP is in the middle of the club and not private. The price is $25 per dance, and I just don't think the dances are much different.
I decided to leave, but ran into a dancer I have known for years on the way out. I got a few dances from this dancer also as I get some mild stick shifting from her which is not bad for $10 table dances.Overall, the Gentlemens club looks the same, but will not be the same in my book without Sandy. RIP.
