After stopping in at Choice, which was less lively than the Minneapolis Public Library on a Friday night, Imheaded up to Dreamgirls. This place is part of the Deja Vu chain and has a lot of hustle, but a little bit of hometown flavor. It was also jammed with young people who had been hitting the bar scene on a weekend night. Lots more energy than Choice but also kind of a frat party feel minus the alcohol. A little to young and hectic than my usual taste but did get a bed dance ($100 for three songs) from a sweet Asian spinner. Pretty good with two- way contact except for the kitty. If Choice continues to flame out, this may become my new home club.
