A friend drove us down to the comic book convention in Anaheim for a few hours. After it closed, he insisted we go to "The Bird" even though I warned him my last visit there (4 yrs ago) wasn't too wonderful. The place was just like it was last time, cold and impersonal with everyone either sitting right near the stage or too far from it. There were not enough girls for the crowd and there was a waitress who was hustling drinks way too hard.

I kept thinking one dynamite girl would suddenly appear and make the visit worthwhile but she never materialized. The ones there were average and didn't circulate much. There were long periods when no one was on stage.

My friend didn't want to leave without getting a lap dance so he picked the least unacceptable lady. He said the dance was tame and it was all about promising him a hotter dance if he went to another level and paid a lot more. He decided he didn't like her that much and cut his losses. I'm sure this place has a better crop of dancers at other times. It would have to.
