So this was my third visit...
So this was my third visit to Shooter's Lounge, and there are a number of important things that I've discovered about this club. But first the basics: this is a medium sized club with two stages, a bar area and a VIP area. As you walk in to the club, the two stages will be on your right along with the bar area that will be in front of you and the VIP area that will also be on your right on the opposite side of the club. Main stage is the closer one to you as you enter, and shooter is the one in the back. All night, you'll hear the DJ directing the girls to "Main Stage" and "Shooter" and that's what it means. Take note of anything or anyone that you particularly like and you'll know her name as the DJ directs them here and there.
The second BIG basic to know is that shift change is at 7:30pm for the evening shift. This is big because if you're like me, you're not going to a strip club to wrestle with six thousand guys and throw money at any stripper that talks to you for fifteen minutes. Well, if your intent is to have a good time and find out what each of the dancers is "good for", then that means getting to Shooter's Alley WELL before that shift change, and leaving shortly thereafter. This is NOT a relaxed club to visit in the evening into the early morning. It's right down the road from Follies and is in a number of ways a Follies "Lite" experience: LOTS of girls, LOTS of shades of brown and some white and LOTS of available extras. This unfortunately also means LOTS of weed and thugs and ballers after 8 pm and NOTHING BUT weed and thugs and ballers after 10pm. If that's your scene, you'll get it here late night. If you want a large choice of girls that are reasonable (as a stripper can be) and a ticket of $125 for thirty minutes in VIP, then you want to visit during the day. Prices SKYROCKET and dancer availability PLUMMETS after 8pm.
