So I have to say usually...

So I have to say usually clubs do not make a comeback on "the block" (baltimore street). However every once in a while exceptions are made. I came to the block on a Thursday night. I parked in the parking garage ($7) and went to Kings and Diamonds. It was a dead zone in there. Literally three customers and 4 dancers. One of the dancers rushed me as soon as I entered the door. I immediately told her I was leaving (planning to go to Norma jeans, the only consistent club on the block). She then asked if I had been in lust. I said no I had not been in over a year. They never have good dancers and the club was recently raided. She said that they have been promoting lust heavy and that the club has been much better lately. Spurred by her words I went to go check it out. I'm glad I did. First good thing, no cover charge. The downstairs was closed but the upstairs was live. There were at least 12-15 dancers on the floor. A lot of sixes but I did see a couple 8s. Even better the bartenders were actually nice, not hounding me for drinks. I stayed for an hour and a half. I had a couple of drinks and I got a floor dance from an 8...I think her name was Ellie. I then left. I had a great time though. Will definately return soon.
